Our History
On June 30th, 1962 Paul Dube finished his service in the US Army. The next day, July 1st, he started Dube Travel Agency. Today, 49 years later, Dube Travel Agency is one of the largest in the State, and most respected across the country.
When Dube Travel started almost 5 decades ago, our focus was primarily on motorcoach tours. We did tours for senior citizen groups, the Maine Credit Union League as well as numerous other affinity groups. During the late 60's and early 70's we sent thousands of people to Hawaii on our own private charters.
Since our beginning in 1962, the travel industry has gone through several changes, as has our business. One thing that has not changed however, is the way we do business. As a family owned business, we make the customer our first priority. All other agencies say the have customer service. Our 40 years in business is our proof!
The last several years have not been kind to the travel industry, yet despite that we have grown and prospered. We are more excited than ever about the future and look forward to serving you long into it!
